A Brief history of Buick

Buick is an American luxury automobile brand that is now owned by General Motors (GM). The company was founded in 1899 by David Dunbar Buick in Detroit, Michigan. Initially, the company produced internal combustion engines and gasoline-powered cars, but it was later acquired by the Durant-Dort Carriage Company in 1904.

Under the leadership of William C. Durant, Buick grew rapidly and became one of the largest car manufacturers in the United States.
